In December 2022, a new upgrade to the Boards and Commissions application was rolled out. This project was a successful partnership between DTS and the Governor’s Office, and followed an in-depth review of workflow processes and procedures to identify areas of improvement.
The analysis involved customer interviews with both internal staff, agency staff and the general public that resulted in a detailed statement of work that could be followed by the development team. The end result was a much more current looking website, with better usability and a self-service approach for the application process.
The new site provides resources to learn about what Utah’s boards and commissions do and how their work benefits our communities, as well as how to become involved as a board member. You can see the new system at boards.utah.gov.
