Citizen Portal

The Utah Citizen Portal envisions a one-stop, customer centric experience for residents and visitors to interact with government services. Utah Code ยง63A-16-803, Single sign-on citizen portal, requires the portal be operational by January 1, 2025. The portal is a collaborative effort among all state agencies.

Customer Service:
Improve customer service and experience by reducing the need to go to a government agency in person, standardize navigation on web pages, and having information available in a central location.

Ensure individuals have easy access to electronic information that they need.

Improve security by updating the web software to a content management system.

Reduce agency costs for different development solutions as they will be able to utilize the Identity Access Management System, Content Management System, and Enterprise Data Integration solutions.

Provide standardization to adhere to recognized standards, policies, and best practices.

Increase transparency in data exchange.

While DTS will facilitate, this project can only succeed as a cooperative effort between government agencies.

The Citizen Portal team wants to work with you to find out how to best make this beneficial for you and your customers, your input will be critical in the planning and design phase.

Secure and Efficient

The portal will be a website that will only store information to facilitate communication and the linkages to state agency services. The current agency systems will verify the identity and continue to provide the agency service. The portal will not store other agency information.
