Utah’s all-in-one platform for government services

The Utah Division of Technology Services (DTS) has implemented a new platform to conveniently and securely deliver services to Utah residents and visitors. It streamlines access to a variety of state services in a single, convenient location.

Goals

Customer Service: Improve customer service and experience by reducing the need to go to a government agency in person and provide access to information and services in a central location.

Access: Reduce the burden of navigating among government agencies to locate a needed service. Ensure individuals have easy access to electronic information and services.

Security: Improve security verifying the identity of the individual accessing sensitive government services. 

Efficiency: Reduce agency costs for different development solutions by utilizing common Identity Access Management, Master Data Management, and Data Integration solutions.

Standardization: Provide standardization to adhere to recognized website and service delivery standards, policies, and best practices.

Transparency: Increase transparency in data exchange.

Secure and Efficient

MyUtah unifies the government experience for its users without blurring the boundaries between public entities that keep sensitive data secure in their source systems. MyUtah will only store information to facilitate communication and the link to state agency services as specifically requested. The agency systems will validate access and provide appropriate service to their customers through MyUtah. MyUtah stores minimal agency information to facilitate information exchanges.
