1-800 Usage Toll Free Service

(Per Minute / Advanced Features)

Toll-free service extends agency services by allowing citizens to access state agencies/ services at no cost. A toll-free number is a special telephone number, in that the called parties (state agencies) are charged the cost of the calls by the telephone carrier (via DTS), instead of the calling party. Toll-free numbers are assigned from a special dialing prefix range (also known as area code) such as 800, 855, 866 and 877 where the calls to these prefixes are free to the caller. Toll-free services are billed to the agency.
