The Division of Technology Services (DTS) is collaborating with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) to provide essential wireless connectivity to the Department of Workforce Services’ new tiny home shelter to help the homeless in Salt Lake City. This innovative project, consisting of 27 homes and a guard building, requires reliable around-the-clock internet access for residents and staff. Thanks to strong partnerships between DTS and UDOT, permanent wireless infrastructure has been successfully installed, ensuring continuous and stable connectivity at the shelter.
