Starting the week of April 10, 2023 the antivirus software tool used by the State of Utah was rebranded from COMODO to Xcitium. This is the newest version of the antivirus software, and protects state computers at the highest level. There is no change to the normal antivirus procedures or policies.
State employees will receive a popup prompt from Xcitium to restart their computer after the software has updated on their computer. Employees should restart their computer at their earliest convenience to complete the installation. The prompt looks similar to the image below:
