DTS worked with the Utah Labor Commission to implement a new Adjudication Document Upload system. The new system allows individuals to submit legal documents, such as petitions and requests for hearings, to the Labor Commission Adjudication Division online instead of via mail or other methods. Agency staff can then review and file the documents into the appropriate SPUD (SPUD is the applicaiton adjudication uses to do their case work) case directly from one location. The new system replaces manual email processing, is expected to increase productivity significantly, and provides more robust auditing. Constituents are informed of submission status throughout the process by automated emails confirming document receipt and processing. You can see the new system here.
