Bryan Brown is the New IT Director at DNR

We are pleased to announce that Bryan Brown is the new IT Director at the Department of Natural Resources. Bryan has worked in IT for over 29 years. After joining the State of Utah, Bryan has spent six years supporting the Department of Health’s Division of Medicaid and Health Financing where he was instrumental in increasing the confidence of DMHF in DTS and in its capabilities by providing leadership and stability to complete critical DMHF projects, while improving the communication between DTS and DMHF. After the department merger into the new Department of Health and Human Services, Bryan became a Lead Application Manager supporting DTS teams for the Division of Integrated Healthcare, Division of Aging and Adult Services and the Division of Services for People with Disabilities.

 
In addition to his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Utah, Bryan is certified as a Firewall Administrator, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Silicon Graphics System Administrator, a Novell Certified NetWare Engineer, and a Certified SAFe 5 Agilest. He is a new grandpa who lives in Riverton Utah, with his wife, daughter, cat and dog, and has two sons who have moved out on their own. He enjoys cooking, reading, the occasional computer game and watching sports on the weekend.
