The DTS Rate Committee met in September and approved the proposed FY2021 rates. You can see the rate sheet here. The rates will now be passed to GOMB for their review and approval. During the 2020 Legislative General Session, the Utah Legislature will review and approve the final FY2021 rates.

The DTS Rate Committee will hold a meeting on September 11 at 1:00 in Capitol room 250 to discuss FY2021 rates. This meeting is open to the public. Agencies are invited to attend to hear discussion and provide comment on the proposed FY2021 rates.
In accordance with Utah Code 63F-1-104(4), the Department of Technology Services (DTS) is required to conduct an information security assessment of state data systems every two years. The required 2019 information security assessment will be completed by DTS security and internal audit personnel. The DTS team will coordinate with your agency information security personnel to complete the assessment by October 1. We anticipate it will take a total of four hours to complete the assessment. We will be following the Department of Homeland Security’s
DTS will be holding a public Rate Committee meeting on July 17 at 2:00pm in Capitol Committee Room 250. DTS will have the opportunity to present ideas for potential rate changes. The Committee will not receive a full rate proposal during the meeting, but will provide feedback on further direction for DTS.
State of Utah CIO, Mike Hussey, announced the winners of the 2019 Best of Utah Awards at the Utah Digital Government Summit earlier this week. The Best of Utah awards honor emerging leaders and innovative projects in government IT that enable Utah to better meet constituent expectations for services and information, improve operating efficiency, and conserve tax dollars. The awards also provide an opportunity for state and local government in Utah to learn about IT leaders and projects that are changing the way government does business.
