Technology Research and Innovation

Technology research and innovation provides IT Research Services, analysis reports, technology advisories, and brief technology application information guides. An IT Research Custom Search Engine is provided to facilitate more efficient access to IT research for the use of DTS employees seeking information on existing and emerging technologies.

Services are provided for DTS employees to access reports from fee based research services currently contracted by the State of Utah. Research services also include the development of specialized technical reports on topics requested by DTS management and teams, and provide a broad and objective overview of a particular technology (e.g., Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Employee Information Portals (EIP), etc.).

Services for the development of requested architecture and standards documents and processes are also provided.

Proof of concept demonstrations and technology specific presentations are provided for DTS, as are links to important and relevant third party technology products.
