Widgets and Blogs to be Featured in Utah.gov Site

Agency widgets and blogs will be a new feature on Utah.gov when the new design is made available in May of this year.  Several agencies have created new blogs as a way to improve the information they provide to constituencies.  The blog format provides a convenient way to produce chronologically driven content.  One great example is the Wildlife Blog written by the Department of Natural Resources.  About once each week, biologists, fisheries experts, and conservation officers share information about related to what they do that would be of interest to the public.  Visit their blog at http://wildlife.utah.gov/blog/ .  DTS is able to provide technical resources and support to agencies wishing to leverage new ways of communicating such as blogs and wikis.
