DTS Working with Utah Division of Finance to Support Open Government

In the 2008 Legislative session, a bill was passed to create a new website that would let citizens have a detailed look at the state’s revenues and expenditures.  Finance has been working closely with the Department of Technology Services (DTS) to define the requirements and to design a working prototype of the website.  The new site will be available to the public on May 15th.  Additional information on the project can be found on the Division of Finance website at http://finance.utah.gov/transparency/index.html.
