Billing Portal
The new DTS Billing Portal is now available to all employees and DTS customers. The portal provides access to view your monthly telephone bill online. The phone bills sent via CD and paper copy will be phased out in the coming months. We encourage all DTS employees to review their phone bill through the portal on a monthly basis. Supervisors are also able to view their employees’ bills.
The Billing Portal also provides access to TUAM, the DTS billing system. There are additional links to Content Manager, Data Warehouse, and FINET.
Please contact Kimberly Aikens at 801-538-3265 with any billing questions.
Remedy Help Desk Tickets
All DTS employees have achieved great success in responding to customer requests through Remedy Help Desk Tickets. Some current statistics from Help Desk Tickets include:
- DTS staff members handle about 4,000 incident requests (tickets) each week.
- Every customer whose ticket is resolved in any give five-day period receives an invitation to respond to a customer satisfaction survey.
- Just over 500 customers respond to the survey each week.
- In an average week, fewer than seven survey responses express any degree of dissatisfaction with DTS support.
- That means that about over 98.6% of survey respondents are satisfied with DTS support.
- Every week we identify staff members who earned “Attaboys” and report them to group and other managers.
- To earn an Attaboy, three things must happen. (1) your customer must respond to the survey, (2) you must receive the highest numerical score [5 – Extremely Satisfied], and (3) your customer’s response must also include a favorable comment.
- Of the over 500 responses each week, about 200 (about 40%) qualify for Attaboys.
- In an average week, over 100 of our staff members earn at least one Attaboy.
- In an average week, about 28 staff members earn 3 or more Attaboys.
Great job! DTS customer service continues to improve, and we appreciate your hard work.
Employee Kudos
Gary Ray, with the help of contractor Justin Miller, has designed and implemented a software application at DWS to seamlessly integrate .NET intranet applications with intranet security components as well as other java applications. In addition, intranet application rights can be managed from a centralized location, regardless of the application's technology platform. This will save future development costs and improve intranet application security.
We appreciate the effort and support Gary has provided.
Commerce iPhone App
The Department of Commerce released an iPhone App that allows users to search the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing’s online database. The Department of Commerce is the first state agency to offer an iPhone service and Utah is the first state nationwide to offer an Apple application for a government service.
The free application, downloaded from iTunes, allows users to check whether anyone they work with is licensed, and helps protect users from consumer fraud. Users can check whether their doctor, contractor, or anyone else they hire is licensed. DTS developed the application for the Department of Commerce. View the press release.
