DTS Government Innovation Forum
The Department of Technology Services (DTS) invites interested private entities to submit project proposals for enhancing government services through the use of efficient technologies and innovations. The Government Innovation Forum will help connect good technology ideas with the right decision makers in state government. DTS partners with a wide variety of private entities for projects and ongoing services. These partnerships help the Department in fulfilling its mission in delivering the right services with the right resources.
Initial Inquiries
The Government Innovation Forum is scheduled every third Friday of the month by invitation. To participate in the forum, please contact send an email to , at least 30 days before the next scheduled event with the following information:
- Company name, primary contact information (name, phone, email, website, mailing address)
- Brief description of the project, product, or service (sufficient detail so the type, intent, and scope of the project is generally identified)
- Agencies/programs that may potentially take advantage of the project, product, or service
- Overall benefits to government services (reduced cost, enhanced services, etc.)
- Whether a non-disculosure agreement is required to be signed by DTS.
Executive Summary
A confirmation email will be sent within five business days after an Initial Inquiry is submitted. The email will offer a choice of upcoming Forum dates, suggested participants from DTS and any State agencies, and a request for a more detailed executive summary of the proposal addressing the following areas:
- Project Description - definition, proposed schedule, project operation, technology and technical feasibility, life cycle cost, etc.
- Public Benefit - Compatability with existing government services, complexity or urgency of the project, risk sharing, economic benefits, etc.
- Vendor Information - Current or past projects with the State or other government entities, demonstrated record of successful past performance, compliance with plans and specifications, quality and cost control, security, etc.
- Financing - Cost and cost benefit to Agency, Source of funds for proposed project, financing plan, etc.
